Sunny.co.uk Advert Music – Song and singer details for the latest Sunny loans TV and YouTube commercial.
Song Title: Sunny.
Artist/Singer: Bobby Hebb.
Available For Download From: iTunes and Amazon.
As has been the case with a number of earlier ads for Sunny.co.uk, this latest ‘Unfortunate Breakdown’ commercial features the predictably titled song ‘Sunny’.
The chilled-out track was written and recorded in 1966 by the American R&B/soul singer Bobby Hebb and has since been covered by a wide variety of artists.
Some of the singers and bands who’ve released their own version of Sunny include Public Enemies, Cher, Boney M. and Marvin Gaye.
This new 2016 Sunny loans TV advert appears to have been given a slightly bigger budget than some of the companies earlier campaigns.
As the camera gradually zooms out, we see a guy sat on a small motorcycle, which is riding on a small bike rescue truck, which is on a bigger VW pick-up, which itself is being carried on a bigger pick-up truck, all of which are riding on top of a transporter lorry. The view finally pans around to see the entire group being towed by a man on roller skates.
The 60-second version of this ‘Unfortunate Breakdown’ ad was posted to Sunny’s official YouTube page on the 16th of May, 2016.
The song Sunny is also being used in Walkers current advert for their range of Sunbites crackers, pitta bakes and wholegrain popcorn:
