Satsuma Loans Advert Song – ‘Yeah Yeah Yeah’

Satsuma Loans Advert Music 2015 – Singer and song information for the new ‘Yeah Yeah Yeah’ TV commercial.

Song Title: Step It Up.

Group/Singers: Stereo MCs.

Download From: Amazon and iTunes.

The current ad for Satsuma Loans uses the soundtrack of ‘Step It Up’ by the British electronica/hip hop/dance group, Stereo MC’s.

Step It Up was the second single released from the 1992 album ‘Connected’ and climbed as high as number 12 in the official UK singles chart. The group are probably best known for that albums title track, despite not performing quite so well in the charts as Step It Up.

You may remember a very similar TV advert for Satsuma Loans about a year ago. Though pretty much identical visually, that one saw the partially sliced orange lip-synching away to Heart’s classic 80’s power ballad ‘Alone’.

That version from 2014, which you can watch at the bottom of this page, features the lyrics ‘How do I get you alone’. However, in this context your made to hear it more like ‘How do I get you a loan’.

The latest commercial (above) was added to Satsuma Loans’ YouTube page on the 2nd of October, 2015.

With a representative APR of 1,575%, this British finance company offers short term loans of up to £1,000.

Back when it was performing Heart’s ‘Alone’, this singing satsuma went by the name of Suzy. But having switched to a male vocal song, the CGI citrus now appears to be nameless.
