L’Oreal Paris Advert Music 2015 – Song details for the new ‘Color Riche Collection Exclusive Pinks’ makeup designer lipstick commercial. #PinkObsession
Song Title: La Vie En Rose (English Version).
Artist/Singer: John Legend.
This new ad from L’Oréal Paris shows the American singer-songwriter John Legend performing an English version of ‘La Vie en rose’.
It appears this was a one-off rendition of the song, with there currently being no signs of an official single release.
Released in 1947, the original French version was most famously sung by its writer, the Parisian cabaret artist Édith Piaf.
As John Legend begins to play, he’s quickly joined around the piano by a selection of L’Oreal’s most famous models and actresses. Some of the faces you may recognise include: Jane Fonda, Liya Kebede, Eva Longoria, Doutzen Kroes and Natasha Poly. The advert finishes with Julianne Moore saying the companies traditional slogan “We’re worth it”.
Even though this was a pretty impressive group of famous women, there were still a few high-profile L’Oreal models not in attendance. Names such as Andie MacDowell, Penelope Cruz, Dame Helen Mirren and even Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
The very pink commercial shows off the French cosmetics brands latest and most iconic collection of exclusive Color Riche lipsticks.
Though uploaded to some of L’Oréal’s other YouTube channels earlier in the month, the video was added to their UK & Ireland page on the 25th of September, 2015.
