What’s the name of the song used in the new Jeep advert and who’s singing it?

Though listeners sometimes mistake their songs for Florence and the Machine’s, the track featured on this current Jeep Cherokee ad is actually performed by fellow English band, London Grammar. Released in the Summer of 2013, when it reached number 31 in the UK Singles Chart, the single is called ‘Wasting My Young Years’.

The lyrics from the song featured in the commercial are: ‘I’m wasting my young years, it doesn’t matter if. I’m chasing old ideas, it doesn’t matter if.’

London Grammar are a three-piece indie-pop band made up of vocalist Hannah Reid, guitarist Dan Rothman and drummer Dominic ‘Dot’ Major.

Another one of the groups songs, Nightcall, was used last year by the BBC in a trailer for drama series ‘The Driver’.

Uploaded to the companies YouTube channel on the 17th of August, 2015, this ‘Roads Are Just A Point Of View’ advert (above) promotes the new Jeep Cherokee and it’s 2.2 litre engine. Along with the Jeep Adventure Days offer, which is available until the end of September.
