HSBC Apple Pay Advert Song

HSBC Apple Pay Advert Music – Singer and song details for the banks new 2015 TV commercial.

Song Title: Changing.

Artist/Singer: Sigma ft Paloma Faith.

Available To Download From: Amazon or iTunes.

The tune you hear in this new HSCB Apple Pay ad is called ‘Changing’. The track comes from the British drum and bass duo Sigma and features the vocals of Paloma Faith.

Following its release in September, 2014, Changing went on to top the official UK singles chart.

Sigma are made up of members Joe Lenzie and Cameron Edwards, who met while attending Leeds University. Prior to the success of Changing, the pair achieved their first UK number 1 earlier that year with ‘Nobody to Love’.

Sigma have since had hit collaborations with such artists as Labrinth for ‘Higher’ and Ella Henderson on the number 2 record ‘Glitterball’.

Much like the RBS advert also currently airing on TV, this commercial from HSBC promotes the new Apple Pay technology. The service allows its iPhone owning customers to make payments quickly and without needing to take out their credit or debit card.

The commercial shows a female runner stop by a coffee shop for a bottle of water and, for some reason, deciding to buy a drink for a girl sat in the corner. Inscribed with the message ‘Good Luck’, the beverage is served as the mystery runner disappears off into the night.

Either a nice heart-warming video or the worst superhero movie ever, depends how you look at it. I’ll let you decide though who won in the RBS v’s HSBC Apple Pay ad battle.
