Carlsberg Advert Music, EURO 2016 – If Carlsberg Did La Révolution

Carlsberg Advert Song – Watch the full length version of the ‘If Carlsberg Did La Révolution’ Euro 2016 YouTube and TV commercial, starring Marcel Desailly.

Musician/Composer: Monstre.

Released in time for the start of UEFA’s Euro 2016 football championships, this latest ad from Carlsberg shows us what things would be like if the Danish lager brand did the French Revolution.

The advert starts with a Parisian man reading a newspaper story about there being ‘No more Euro tickets’. Yes in case you were in any doubt of this guys nationality, they actually dressed him in a black and white striped top, but did at least stop short of adding a beret, scarf, string of onions and a baguette.

This inability for citizens to watch the tournament live quickly proves enough reason to start La Révolution, but fortunately for the King, ex-France and Chelsea centre back Marcel Desailly is on hand just in time to distribute some extra tickets, meaning the only thing losing its head is a bottle of beer.

The music you hear playing in the ad was composed by Monstre, who appears to provide the soundtracks to many European TV ads. The song isn’t a commercial track and therefore is unlikely to be made available for commercial download.

In addition to this revolution advert, keep a lookout during the Euro’s for the company’s new ‘If Carlsberg did substitutions’ campaign.

The above video was posted to Carlsberg UK’s official YouTube channel on the 10th of June, 2016 – the opening day of the European Football Championships.
