Bupa Advert Music 2017 – For Living ‘Come Back’ Dancefloor Ad

Bupa Advert Song 2017 – Music and singer details to Bupa’s new ‘For Owning The Dancefloor, For Living’ internet and TV ad.

Song Title: Pain in My Heart.

Artist/Singer: Helene Smith.

Available To Download From: Amazon and iTunes.

This brand new TV advert for Bupa Health Insurance shows a woman taking the opportunity to finally leave her illness behind, make her way to the dancefloor, and begin enjoying life again.

The fittingly powerful and uplifting song we see this lady dancing to is the relatively little known recording of the song ‘Pain in My Heart’, by the Miami-based American soul singer Helene Smith.

Written by Naomi Neville, you may be more familiar with Otis Redding’s version of Pain in My Heart, which formed the title track of his 1964 debut album.

Helene Smith’s amazing cover of the song was released in 1967 and can now be downloaded either as a single, or as part of the various artists album ‘Eccentric Soul: The Deep City Label’.

The lyrics to Pain in My Heart that we hear sung in the advert are: ‘Pain in my heart, treating me cold. Where can my baby be? Lord no one knows. Pain in my heart oh, just won’t let me sleep. Where can my baby be? Lord where can he be? And now the days, has began to get tough. Said I want you to come back, come back, come back baby. ‘Cause I’ve had enough, oh.’

Finishing with the on-screen tagline ‘For cancer care that helps get you there. For Living’, this ‘For owning the dancefloor’ advert was posted to the Bupa UK YouTube channel on the 4th of January, 2017.
