British Airways Holidays Advert Song 2016 – ‘To Fly. To Serve’

British Airways Advert Music 2016 – Singer and song details for BA’s new ‘To Fly. To Serve’ holiday TV commercial.

Song Title: Lightning Bolt.

Artist/Singer: Jake Bugg.

Available To Download From: Amazon and iTunes.

A slightly unusual choice of soundtrack for an airline companies advert, this latest campaign for British Airways Holidays features a song called ‘Lightning Bolt’

Released as a single in April, 2012, when it went on to reach number 26 in the UK chart, the track is performed by English singer-songwriter Jake Bugg.

You can also find the song on the 21-year-old’s self-titled debut studio album, which topped the UK album chart and was nominated for the 2013 Mercury Music Prize.

Jake is no stranger to having his work featured on TV shows and adverts though. ‘There’s A Beast And We All Feed It’ was used for the 2015 Vauxhall Corsa commercial, while ‘Trouble Town’ was chosen as the theme tune to BBC One’s hit crime drama ‘Happy Valley’.

The above ‘To Fly. To Serve’ advert was uploaded to the official British Airways YouTube channel on the 24th of December, 2015. With apparently plenty of time and money to spare, the video shows a couple using the BA holiday website to book flights and hotels for such places as Lisbon, New York and Barbados.
