As you’ve probably already worked out, those very fitting lyrics featured in the ad are taken from the classic disco song ‘I Will Survive’, originally sung by Gloria Gaynor.
The track was first released in October of 1978, going on to reach number 1 in both the official UK singles chart and the US Billboard Hot 100. The song has since gone double platinum and remains one of the most popular anthems in the disco music genre.
