Beowulf ITV Advert Music – Video and song details for the new ‘Return to the Shieldlands’, coming soon TV advert.
Song Title: Heathen Child.
ITV have now released the first trailer for their highly anticipated drama series Beowulf. Coming soon, Beowulf is a 13-part fantasy-drama starring William Hurt, Kieran Bew and Joanne Whalley.
Beowulf is an Old English poem which previously inspired a 2007 CGI movie starring Ray Winstone and Angelina Jolie.
I’d expect to see plenty of Beowulf adverts and preview clips broadcasting on ITV over the coming weeks, building the show up in much the same way as the channels other big action series ‘Jekyll and Hyde’.
Though a TV start date is yet to be revealed, given the fact ITV have begun advertising in early Autumn, Beowulf should probably premiere sometime in October or November.
The above ‘Return to the Shieldlands’ trailer was uploaded to ITV’s YouTube page on the 2nd of October, 2015.
The name of the song used in the ad is called ‘Heathen Child’ and it’s performed by the alternative rock band, Grinderman.
The track features on the groups second, and seemingly last studio album, Grinderman 2.
Apart from a one-off performance in 2013, the band have been disbanded since 2011. Grinderman’s Australian-British line-up consisted of lead singer Nick Cave, guitarist Warren Ellis, bassist Martyn P. Casey and drummer Jim Sclavunos.
