Just in case you thought the conclusion of Wimbledon and Euro 2016 signalled the end of this summers big sporting events, the BBC have been quick to remind us the Olympic Games are just around the corner.

Their expensive-looking ‘Greatest Show On Earth’ CGI trailer shows wild animals conducting what appears to be their own Amazon-based Olympics, which they clearly wouldn’t be allowed to call the Olympics due to strict copyright laws, before morphing into human athletes and heading to Rio for the real thing.

The adverts soundtrack is provided by singer-songwriter Jamie N Commons with his new track ‘Not Gonna Break Me’, which was released for download on the 20th of May, 2016.

According to the artists recent interview with NME, Jamie was already working on this song at the time he was approached by the BBC. With the tracks sentiment matching up well with what the broadcaster was looking for, it appears things worked out rather well.

Sticking with the Brazil sporting theme, Jamie N Commons and X Ambassadors’ song ‘Jungle’ coincidentally featured previously on Beats by Dre’s ‘The Game Before The Game’ World Cup 2014 commercial:
