ASDA Advert Song Christmas 2015 – Because It’s Christmas

ASDA Advert Music, Christmas 2015 – Singer and song details for the new #becauseitschristmas ‘Give it to me/Play that sax’ TV commercial.

Song Title: Sax.

Artist/Singer: Fleur East.

Download From: iTunes and Amazon.

Asda’s 2015 festive TV ad features a brand-new tune called ‘Sax’, by former X Factor contestant Fleur East.

Due to be released for download on the 6th of November, Sax is taken from the singers up-coming debut album ‘Love, Sax and Flashbacks’. Also included on the EP will be Fleur’s cover of Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ global hit ‘Uptown Funk’.

We also expect a deluxe version of the album to include the 28-year-old’s version of Alicia Keys’ ‘Girl On Fire’, which currently features on the Virgin Media ‘Inspired’ advert.

Fleur East rose to fame in late 2014 by singing and dancing her way to the X Factor UK series 11 runner-up spot. The high-energy performer narrowly missed out on the winners prize to fellow overs contestant Ben Haenow.

Getting in nice and early, the above ASDA ‘Save money, Live better – Because It’s Christmas’ advert was uploaded to the supermarkets official YouTube channel on the 1st of November, 2015.

With Fleur’s new song sounding far from traditionally festive, Asda instead focus on all the modern day activities synonymous with the Christmas and New Year season.

Some of the lyrics from ‘Sax’ that we hear sung in the commercial are: “Give it to me. You better play that sax.” Sounds like Fleur’s a bit sax mad.
