Following on from the recent ‘Dog With A Bad Leg’ commercial, Amazon are now offering solutions to owners of lonely Shetland Ponies.

The song featured in the ad is called ‘Little Man’, a 1966 hit single for the American pop duo Sonny and Cher. Although in the advert you only hear vocals from Cher, the full song is actually a duet.

The track was written by Sonny Bono and is taken from the pairs third studio album ‘In Case You’re In Love’. After its release as a single, ‘Little Man’ reached as high as number 4 in the UK singles charts.

With the success of the ‘Wand’rin’ Star’ advert, Amazon have decided to stick with the winning formula of cute animals having their lives quickly improved by a Prime purchase.

The video starts off with a large carrier van arriving at a field full of horses, only for a tiny Shetland Pony to slowly emerge. After seeing her new equine addition being shunned by the bigger horses, the ponies owner uses Amazon Prime’s one day delivery service to order an oversized cat flap.

This quickly installed modification to the front door then allows the little horse to enter the house at will and enjoy some human company instead. The video was added to’s YouTube page on the 17th of November, 2015.

Created especially for ITV’s Text Santa charity appeal, here’s a look at the knitted version of this Amazon Prime ad:
